New Jersey commissioned notary · remote online notarization

Need an international document notarized right now?

Complete your notarization online from anywhere.

NFYB is a New Jersey-commissioned remote online notarization service. Eligible signers may participate while physically outside the United States because the notary remains in New Jersey and the notarial act is performed there under New Jersey law.

For an international document, the record must have the required U.S. connection, the signing must not be prohibited where the signer is located, and the receiving organization must accept the resulting New Jersey electronic notarization.

Important: Notarization is separate from apostille, authentication, translation, and consular steps. Confirm the destination country’s and receiving organization’s requirements before booking; acceptance is never automatic.

Frequently asked questions

Can you notarize a document for use in another country?

Possibly, when the remote notarial act is eligible and the destination authority accepts it. International acceptance, apostille, authentication, translation, and filing requirements must be confirmed with the recipient.

Can I join from outside the United States?

Eligible signers may join from another country when the record relates to a matter under U.S. jurisdiction or to U.S. property or a U.S.-connected transaction, the identity requirements are met, and signing is not prohibited where the signer is located.

Does NFYB provide apostilles or authentication?

The remote notarial appointment does not automatically include apostille, authentication, consular, translation, or foreign filing services. Ask the receiving authority what additional steps it requires.
